Empowering the youths on entrepreneurship, climate smart agribusiness and economic freedom
We believe strongly in transparency, inclusivity and hardwork
To mobilize and equip a generation of youth leaders to shape Africa’s green future through climate-smart solutions and sustainable economic opportunities.
The African youth are the future, we seek to directly impact these youth through programmes that slow down golbal warming while they earn from these initiatives, to keep them motivated for posterity.
A just and sustainable future led by empowered youth driving green innovation and inclusive economic growth.
Born from frustration. Driven by vision. Built by youth.
Riziki Youth Africa is a registered Community Based organization REG NO: 09035. It was born in Kenya’s South Rift, a region where generations have depended on agriculture — particularly tea — for livelihoods. But in recent years, plummeting tea prices, erratic weather, frequent hailstorms, and degrading soil conditions have made it harder for young people to thrive.
As communities near the Mau Forest — East Africa’s largest indigenous forest and a vital water tower feeding Lake Victoria and the Nile — we have seen firsthand the urgent need to protect our environment while creating new, sustainable ways for youth to earn a living.
In response, what began as a grassroots youth initiative in Bomet and Kericho counties has grown into a dynamic, youth-led Community-Based Organization that equips young people with climate-smart skills, tools, and market opportunities. From bamboo nurseries and indigenous reforestation to sustainable farming, and digital innovation, we help youth turn climate risks into economic and ecological resilience.
🔹 Youth-Led & Ground-Up: Entirely founded and run by youth under 35 who deeply understand the challenges and potential of their peers.
🔹 Climate-Smart Innovation: We integrate technology and nature-based solutions like bamboo, AI-powered tools, and carbon offset projects to address unemployment and climate change together.
🔹 Local Roots, Scalable Vision: We work directly with communities — training farmers, unlocking green jobs, and securing markets — while aiming to empower millions of youth across Kenya and beyond.

We actively seek to empower youth to gain relevant skills by seeking training from organizations that offer the relevant courses in line with climate action. Some of the trainings include Bamboo training carried out in Meru, KENYA by Bamboo Creative Bali organization.

With a majority of our youth living at the South Western part of the mau forest, we are much obligated to protect the natural resource passed down by generations which has indigenous trees, natural rivers and wild animals that depend on this ecosystem. We have partnered with schools and companies to carry out tree planting activities at least once every month
